What's New of this month is Bamboo fan(Uchiwa)

These bamboo fans are all old fashioned handmade, these are made of washi-paper and bamboo that produced in Gifu pref.

To make bamboo fan waterproof, we coat them some kind of oil that made
from nuts.

We have some different types such as Shibu-Uchiwa which is coated
tannin from persimmon,and Basho-Uchiwa on which the most famous HAIKU
writer Basyo Matsuo's
HAIKU are written.
